Youth For Seva - CVC

About The Event

Volunteering practices aimed towards the betterment of society are trending topics of discussion among the youth of today. Experiences from the past have always led to the development of better and more effective volunteering practices which have not only made a better impact on society, but also on the volunteers and everyone else involved. The youth of this generation are realizing the importance of volunteering and are taking this passion to the social sector to research, learn and contribute to the best of their capabilities.

Youth for Seva has always believed in empowering the youth and is heavily vested in channelizing their strength to inspire progress across the nation. YFS ensures a large number of student volunteers are engaged every year, through a variety of projects, in order to sensitize them about volunteering and engage them to have a positive impact on society. Seva Internships and Seva Fellowships are offered to passionate students and they are monitored to become stellar change makers in domains such as education, health, environment, etc. based on their interests and availability.

In a bid to accelerate our efforts to ensure the thriving of the student volunteering community, YFS decided to give volunteers an opportunity to discuss about the challenges in the social sector, learn from experts in the field and explore the plethora of service projects and ideas.

This opportunity took the form of a college conclave that was aptly christened, Udvikas. Udvikas is being organized to discuss state-of-the-art volunteering practices from diverse regions, unique and more effective practices that can be adopted, recognize the budding leaders in the domain and nurture mindful volunteering among the youth. We cordially invite you to be a part of this new experience.
