Chapter: Noida

Overview 

Youth for Seva Noida is working since 2017. Motive of our organization, encourage youth to give their contribution in social work. Our organization is working in every sector in Noida, such as poor children whose parents are not able to teach them due to financial problems, our volunteers give them free education. Our organization distributes school kits to poor children in Noida for free. So that children have no problem in reading. Our organization is constantly engaged our volunteers to give seva and is making significant contribution to our society. In this Lockdown situation in our entire country, our volunteers are also giving their important contribution. Along with distributing food, they are also giving rasan to the needy people so that people can live their lives.

Public awareness program - For an environment friendly Diwali

On 13th November 2020, Youth For Seva Team Noida volunteers organized an awareness program at Sai Upvan Society, Noida. Current pandemic has majorly affected the local small-scale vendors and daily labors in our country. We all know that due to the COVID crisis there are many such families may not be able to celebrate Diwali this year.

The purpose of doing this program was to aware and motivate more people to buy local products that can help local smallscale vendors and Diya makers. Also it helps us celebrate an environment friendly Diwali.

10 Youth for Seva volunteers along with 8 localities actively took part in this program.

Book distribution at different learning Centres, basti and Seva Kendra's

Youth For Seva's flagship event Give Paper Back collects used notebooks and from the unused sheets new notebooks would be made and distributed to underprivileged and needy students. This way do our little to save trees and reduce affect on environment.

Youth For Seva team Noida conducted multiple book distribution drive at different locations of the city to make sure children who are in need gets benefited by this. 

14th Jan : 5 Volunteers distributed notebooks to 90 children at to two centres namely 'Seva Group of India' and 'Future Point'.

17th Jan : 5 Volunteers distributed 80 notebooks at 2 Seva Kendra of 'Purvanchal Sewa Samiti Seva kendr'.

18th Jan: 3 Volunteers distributed notebooks to 40 children at 'Challengers ki pathshala Seva kendr'.

19th Jan: 4 Volunteers distributed notebooks to 150 children at 'Sai Educational Society Seva kendr'.

    Today, Youth For Seva Noida conducted an orientation for Virtual Navoudit. 35 volunteers participated in this event. And volunteers shared their interests on how they would want to take par in the virtual Navoudit.

    Today Youth For Seva Noida volunteers distribute old clothes to needy across the slums in Noida sector 75.

    5 volunteers and 3 local volunteers participated in this event. And around 70 people got benefited by this program.

    Today our volunteers visited one of the seva kendra of 'Seva Group of India'. We informed the children about virtual Navoudit. And all the children were happy and showcased their extracurricular talent. Every one of them says they are ready to participate in the event.

    On the last day of 2020, Youth For Seva Noida volunteers reached out to 10 new families and oriented them about  'Jivika Patra' program. All 10 families have agreed to donate rice to the needy.

    On this Sunday 6th Dec 2020, Youth for Seva Noida Volunteers distributed old clothes at a slum.


    Our volunteers first segregated the clothes in two parts, first part to be distributed to people at slum and second part will be distributed to those people who live besides road at night. 12 volunteers actively took part in this activity.


    After the segregation process8 of our volunteers distributed the clothes were distributed in Char Murti slum. 20 families were benefited by this program including over 40 children.

    During this pandemic, children across the country are lacking education and aids that can help them improve their knowledge. While the schools are still shut, underprivileged children like children at slums are mostly affected. To address this, Youth For Seva Noida volunteers donated old books to the children of Slum. 


    Alphabet books, Number system, General knowledge, Hindi basic language and many other useful books were distributed to 25 children of the slum. Children were very curious and eager while we distributed them the books. The priceless smile on the face of these children was the return gift.


    5 of our volunteers actively took part in this program and one of our volunteers also distributed snacks to the children.

    On the occasion of Astami Navratri, Youth For Seva Noida volunteers distribute 100 dozen banana.



    Our volunteers of Rohitnagar played a major role in this event. Bananas were distributed to pedestrians & other travelers on the streets.



    Each and every volunteers contributed in this event and distributed over 500 bananas. 5 Volunteers took active part in this program.

    Today Youth For Seva Noida volunteers distribute the box for "JIVIKA PATRA". Even the fulltime volunteers are taking part in this meaningful activity where the boxes are distributed to each home and the family will donate 1 fist of rice everyday. Then this will be distributed to the needy family.


    Today our volunteers have distributed 5 boxes and team will continue to extend this program to support the needy.

    Today Youth For Seva Noida volunteers made paper bags with the children of Study Points.

    Volunteers motivate the children by giving surprise gift the top 3 children who made the best paper bag.


    30 Children participated in this activity with enthusiasm and 5 volunteers supported this entire event.


    These bags will be distributed to shops along with giving them awareness on the harmful effects of polythene bags.

    After a need based survey in the slums, Youth For Seva Noida volunteers distributed old books to children in the slums.


    5 volunteers participated and distributed books to 70+ children according to their need. 

    Books that can provide them basic knowledge on language and general knowledge, colouring books were distributed to younger children. 


    The volunteers also took time to introduce children to those books and helped them read them.
