Help for the treatment of Tejas

While the whole world is still fighting with the unprecedented COVID, 7 year old child Tejas who survived a rare genetic liver disorder "Wilson's Disease" is hit by dengue & admitted in Aster hospital, Bengaluru. With estimated treatment cost of INR 25,000, the little boy needs our immediate support.

Your donation can serve as a healing hand towards the recovery of this little soul.

Background: Tejas belongs to a underprivileged family where his father Mr. Ashok, an auto driver hailing from Tumkur is the the only breadwinner. In 2018 the family reached out to our volunteers for support. At this stage we assured the father that we will do our best to support the immediate need of the family. The child was diagnosed with Wilson's disease and only liver transplant could save him. Since then Youth For Seva has been supporting this family for their child's treatment through Arogyanidhi. Our volunteers Late. Vyjayanthi, Bharath Bhat took extra care to make sure the child is recovering safe by visiting them often and helping them with medicines. Tejas have a little sister who also suffered with liver issues but post biopsy doctor has asked the family to observe the child with medication and child could recover without operation.

Previously supported cases

Harish, a 33-year-old driver, is suffering from renal failure.  From February 2017, he is undergoing dialysis.  His mother is a street vendor, and she is supporting his medical expenses.  Harish recently underwent renal transplant. As his 60-year-old mother has donated her kidney, she has to take rest for 6 months, and he has to take rest for 1 year.  So, both are not in a position to take up any job, but his medical expenses are unbearable for them. Urgently, he needs Rs.1 Lakh to take care of his medicines.
