Background: Tejas belongs to a underprivileged family where his father Mr. Ashok, an auto driver hailing from Tumkur is the the only breadwinner. In 2018 the family reached out to our volunteers for support. At this stage we assured the father that we will do our best to support the immediate need of the family. The child was diagnosed with Wilson's disease and only liver transplant could save him. Since then Youth For Seva has been supporting this family for their child's treatment through Arogyanidhi. Our volunteers Late. Vyjayanthi, Bharath Bhat took extra care to make sure the child is recovering safe by visiting them often and helping them with medicines. Tejas have a little sister who also suffered with liver issues but post biopsy doctor has asked the family to observe the child with medication and child could recover without operation.
