The Third Edition of Corporate Volunteering Conclave (CVC 3.0) was held in association with HSBC at HSBC Campus, HiTec City, Hyderabad on 15th November 2019. The event brought together over 200+ delegates from across Corporates, NGOs, Individual Volunteer Enthusiasts to share their best practices in the area of corporate volunteering and how corporates are engaging their employees in impactful volunteering.
The Hon’ble Minister of State for Finance and Corporate Affairs, Govt of India, Sri Anurag Thakur Ji participated as the Chief Guest. The Program began with 20 Business Heads from IT/ITeS segment in Hyderabad meeting The Hon’ble Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs Sri Anurag Thakur Ji over Breakfast and deliberating over CSR Policies.
In his Keynote Address, Sri Anurag Thakur Ji dwelt on the subjects “Corporate Social Responsibility”, urged everyone to combine “Mission of Life”,“Passion” “Profession” to do good for the country and roused the gathering to take time out to Serve and Experience the joy of giving back. The Hon’ble Minister also emphasized on the Government’s Proactive approach to partnerships with Corporates and assured full support towards rolling out of Development Programs in Rural Areas.
The Conclave also saw Panel discussions on various subjects – Impact of Corporate Volunteering, NGOs engaging Corporate Volunteers, Change Makers among others. The Panelists included eminent Social Workers, Corporate Leaders and Sustainability Champions from the Corporate world.
Sri Swami Bodhamanayananda Ji, Director of Vivekananda Institute for Human Excellence, RamaKrishna Mutt and Sri Jayesh Ranjan, IT Secretary, Govt of Telangana presented Awards to Individual Volunteer Champions and Corporates who have been engaging their Employees for Impactful Volunteering.
In the category of Individual Volunteer Champions, Surya Kala M from Franklin Templeton got the first prize , while the second prize was shared by Aditya Dogra of Cisco Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd & Francis Anthony of Salesforce.com. Kiran Reddy Elleti from GGK Technologies got the third prize.
In the category of Employee Engagement Champions, Cisco Systems (India) Pvt. Ltd got the first place, CapGemini Technology Services India Ltd., got the second prize while the third prize was shared by Salesforce.com & US Technology India Pvt. Ltd.
