Youth for Seva is an ngo that was established in 2007 to enable youth volunteering in India. The organization was founded in Bengaluru by Sri Venkatesh Murthy ji, who recognized the need for effective volunteering organizations in India.
At YFS, we believe in the huge potential that our youth possess in enabling change. This has allowed us to engage large groups of people in having a positive impact on society.

Over the past 18 years, we have expanded our horizons to reach over 36 lakh beneficiaries and engage over 2.46 lakh people in social impact volunteering across 12,453 seva kendras in India.
Our goal has been to provide meaningful volunteering opportunities in India to people from all walks of life.
Youth for Seva’s focus areas have also grown to include education, healthcare, environment, livelihood, and rural development, making us one of the most diverse volunteering organizations in India.

Organized at MP Arts and MH Commerce College, this free health check-up camp was executed in collaboration with IGF India and the Billion Heart Beating (Apollo) Foundation. The drive focused on promoting wellness, early detection, and life-saving skills among young women.
Event Highlights:
Day 1: Over 400 girls benefited from general health and hemoglobin screenings.
Day 2: Students received free eye check-ups and were awarded certificates after completing essential CPR training.
Beyond ensuring physical well-being, the camp aimed to motivate these students to become active volunteers and changemakers. We are also thrilled to share that this impactful program received extensive newspaper coverage in Ahmedabad, amplifying our message of Seva!

We are delighted to share the wonderful moments from our Vanvihar program held at Jayadev Vatika on 18th January 2026!
It was a truly impactful Sunday as 102 dedicated volunteers came together under the inspiring leadership of our Chapter President, Dr. Prabhas Ranjan Tripathy Ji, and National VM Coordinator, Mr. Ashwini Ji. The day was a perfect blend of learning and bonding—starting with insightful discussions and feedback, followed by an exploratory visit to the Vatika, where we dove deep into environmental conservation.
The experience culminated in a joyous fest filled with music, food, and fun activities, strengthening our community spirit and teamwork. A heartfelt Dhanyawad to our leaders and every volunteer who made this day so special. We look forward to many more such initiatives!
