Hasiru Payana

Harisru Aahara & Hasiru Arogya began in 2013 as an initiative to bring back awareness about our traditional foods and the importance of following them.  Health has been of major concerns for the past few years now. This leads us to the question of why are we facing these?

Is it lifestyle disorders or the food we consume or both?

Here at Hasiru Aahara, we are on a drive to rejuvenate the lost food wisdom, culture and take forward the cuisine & culture to the next generation.  Many years before packaged food arrived, food was always considered both nourishment and medicine, to our body, but the way we eat today, by contrast, is vastly different.  Traditional food were initially only local, seasonal produce and was consumed according to that particular region and climate. It is our motive to bring back the same methods into food habits of growing and cooking the local, seasonal produce.  In order to bring back the lost sync with our culture, climate and cuisine and also to ensure our next generation make healthy choices, its important that we start by choosing these food and lifestyle ourselves and live them.
