Meenakshi started Anahata United Efforts with the dream of nurturing Human capitals through Career guidance. Meenakshi believes that each child irrespective of their socio-economic situation and academic

capabilities has an innate potential. The program includes volunteers and employees who are trained to deliver career guidance to high school children. Most of the career guidance programs are done in a single setting, where as Meenakshi wants to intervene once in every week throughout the year. The program includes interactive presentations that provides overview of different industries and professions like Automobile industry, BPO, Animation, Beauty and Wellness, Armed

forces, health care, hospitality and so on. The idea is – career decision can be made only if the requisite information is available with the children. As part of the fellowship, this has been piloted in 4 government schools in Bangalore and has received very good response. Meenakshi is planning to scale-up this program in a big way in upcoming years.
